What to expect on your forge day
The day usually begins around 10:30am, but I can be flexible with start/finish times.
It is (with in reason) totally up to you how much of the project is done by you, some people are happy just to see the process, and some want every hammer blow to be their own, where you fall in that scale is totally up to you, but either way I am always on hand.
We usually stop for lunch around 1pm - you can bring your own or there is a café and shop about 10min away.
All going well, we finish up around 5pm and you will be going home with your own hand made project!

Where is it?Near Urlingford on the Tipp/Kilkenny border - just search for Triscele Forge on Google Maps.

How much does it cost?Half Day course: €90 per person for a half day course (circa 4 hours). Full day: Single person one-to-one: €180 for one person. More than one participant: €130 per person. Full Day Group Prices: Please contact us for prices for large groups, stag-parties, team building, workshops, scout groups etc. Budget group half day for 4 people €240 (€60 per person) For the budget group, rather than working on individual projects we work on group projects to suit each group. I do not mix groups so if you make a booking it will be just you and your group on the day.

What should I bring?Just some lunch, all PPE and materials are provided.

What should I wear?Closed toe shoes, and old clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, ideally of a natural material like cotton. So no spandex or lycra!

Do I need experience?No the project will be tailored to suit your level.

Do I need muscles like Hercules?No, some projects like axes or hammers can take quite a bit of work, but finesse and coordination are more important.

When do you run courses?7 days a week so contact me and we can organise a date that suits.

What are the maximum/minimum group sizes?1-4

Are there any age restrictions?Ages 14-99 but under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.

Can I buy a voucher as a gift?Yes, vouchers are available and make a great gift. Just contact me and I will arrange these for you.
